The KP Team Coached Workouts
Workouts are geared to the events the majority of the team is training for. There may be two workouts going on at a time. One group may be training for a long course event, while one group will be training for a short course event. Be ready! The workouts will be tough…but fun!

TUESDAY NIGHT BRICK WORKOUT – 6:30PM (rain or shine)
Jan – March: @ LGHS – We set up in the breezeway behind the pool. Park by the track.
(Bring your trainer, bike shoes, run shoes & warm clothes. Layers!)
April – Sept: @ West Valley College, Meet in Parking Lot #5 (Bring $2 to $3 for parking)
Maps:  6 mile loop | 8 mile loop | 10 mile loop

WEDNESDAY BIKE RIDE – 12:00 NOON
Team Bike Ride – Advanced Level
Meet at The Bicycle Outfitter back parking lot in Los Altos.
Ride leaves by 12:04 sharp!
Self-supported ride
*Avg speed 20+mph with ~1,500 ft of climbing

THURSDAY NIGHT TRACK WORKOUT – 6:30pm (starts in April)
Running Economy – Focus on running form and drills, intervals included!
Prospect High School (18900 Prospect Rd – Corner of Lawrene Expwy &  Prospect Road)
ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

FRIDAY BIKE RIDE – 12:00 NOON
Team Bike ride – Beginner/Intermediate Level (Recover Ride)
Meet In front of the JCC on Oka Rd in Los Gatos. Park on the street.
Ride leaves by 12:05 sharp!
Self-supported ride
* Avg speed 15mph, spin/flush out the legs with some moderate climbing at times

SATURDAY SWIM/BIKE/RUN WORKOUT – 7:30AM
Los Gatos High School Pool
Be ready to swim, bike and run. Swim first @ 7:30AM | Bike @ 9:30AM

LG MASTERS SWIM
Not included in the Kain Weekly Coached Workouts except on Saturday. You must purchase a LG Masters Membership through the LG Rec Dept to participate in Masters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Read more
